Purkey, Carter, Compton, Swann & Carter, PLLC (PCCSC), a full-service accounting firm, announced the addition of James (Jimmy) Mosier, CPA, as a new firm partner effective January 1, 2022.
In making the announcement, Paul Lynch, CPA and Partner at PCCSC, said, “We are pleased to welcome the addition of Jimmy as our business continues to grow and serve the Lakeway region. Jimmy brings the same dedication and professional expertise that we have offered for 70 years. We are confident that it will help guide our business into the future.
Mosier joined PCCCC in June 2018 after working for a few years at Coulter & Justus in Knoxville where he gained experience in audits and reviews of year-end financial statements, as well as defined contribution plans. , defined benefit plans and trusts.
Mosier graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
He obtained his CPA designation in 2020. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jimmy and his wife Karina were high school sweethearts and graduated in 2007 from Morristown East High School and Morristown West High School, respectively.
After living in Atlanta and Nashville for several years, they returned to Morristown to be closer to their family and have the opportunity to raise their family in the same community in which they grew up.
Karina, also a CPA, works at Eagle Alloys Global Materials Supplier and they are parents to one son, James. They attend First Baptist Church in Morristown.

The firm employs seven CPAs and a total staff of 14 professional accountants to meet the needs of its clients.
